The 7 Ranks
Every builder starts as a Newcomer. As you complete modules, pass tests, and audit protocols, you climb through 7 ranks. Each rank is a character with unique stats, strengths, and personality. Your rank reflects how much of the platform you truly own.

The Curious Cub
Newcomer
"First printf"
Every legend starts somewhere. The Newcomer has just discovered the world of smart contracts. Wide-eyed and eager, they sit at their terminal for the first time, the glow of a Solidity compiler reflecting in their eyes. They do not yet know what a reentrancy attack is. They will.
Stats
Strengths
- +Unlimited curiosity
- +No bad habits to unlearn
- +Fresh perspective
Weaknesses
- −Confuses msg.sender with tx.origin
- −Thinks require() is optional
- −Has not met a gas limit yet
Unlocks

The Workshop Gremlin
Tinkerer
"Breaks things on purpose"
The Tinkerer has taken apart their first contract and put it back together. Mostly. They have a workshop full of half-finished experiments and a dangerous amount of confidence. They break things not by accident, but to understand how they work. Their goggles are always on.
Stats
Strengths
- +Reads error messages carefully
- +Not afraid to experiment
- +Understands state variables
Weaknesses
- −Forgets to test edge cases
- −Overcomplicates simple functions
- −Workshop is a mess
Unlocks

The Code Welder
Builder
"Deploys on Friday"
The Builder does not just write contracts. They construct systems. With a welding mask pushed up on their forehead and sparks flying from their keyboard, they assemble swap functions, LP token logic, and factory patterns. They have learned that code is not finished until it compiles, passes tests, AND makes sense.
Stats
Strengths
- +Writes complete functions
- +Understands ERC-20 inside out
- +Can read another protocol's code
Weaknesses
- −Sometimes ships without full test coverage
- −Still learning about flash loans
- −Deploys on Friday (risky)
Unlocks

The Rocket Rider
Deployer
"Gas? What gas?"
The Deployer has launched code into the void and watched it land. Riding a rocket made of linked smart contract blocks, they have felt the thrill of a successful deployment and the terror of a failed transaction. Gas costs are a suggestion, not a barrier. They have transcended the testnet.
Stats
Strengths
- +Deploys confidently
- +Understands CREATE2 and deterministic addresses
- +Can debug a failed transaction
Weaknesses
- −Occasionally forgets slippage protection
- −Thinks one audit is enough
- −Gas optimization is an afterthought
Unlocks

The Blueprint Master
Architect
"Sees the whole system"
The Architect does not see contracts. They see systems. Standing with arms crossed, surrounded by floating holographic diagrams of Factory, Router, and Pool interconnections, they understand how every piece connects. They design before they code. They think in invariants, not implementations.
Stats
Strengths
- +Designs multi-contract systems
- +Understands protocol interactions
- +Sees vulnerabilities before they're written
Weaknesses
- −Can over-engineer simple solutions
- −Spends too long on architecture diagrams
- −Perfectionism delays shipping
Unlocks

The Cyber Sentinel
Protocol Engineer
"Audits in their sleep"
The Protocol Engineer has circuit patterns glowing under their fur. They see code the way Neo sees the Matrix: not as functions and variables, but as flows of value, vectors of attack, and invariants that must hold. They have built enough protocols to know where every bug hides. They audit in their sleep because the patterns never leave their mind.
Stats
Strengths
- +Spots reentrancy from across the room
- +Writes gas-optimized code naturally
- +Understands every line of Uniswap V2
Weaknesses
- −Sees vulnerabilities everywhere (even in breakfast)
- −Can be intimidating to junior devs
- −Has opinions about tab vs spaces
Unlocks

The Onchain Monarch
Sovereign
"The chain bends to their will"
The Sovereign sits on a throne of crystallized smart contracts, a crown forged from block headers on their head. Smaller lynxes look up in reverence. They have not just built protocols. They have mastered them. They understand the constant product formula the way a musician understands scales: not as theory, but as instinct. When the Sovereign writes code, the blockchain listens.
Stats
Strengths
- +Masters every protocol architecture
- +Designs novel invariants
- +The chain bends to their will
Weaknesses
- −None documented. (The Sovereign wrote the documentation.)
- −Lonely at the top
- −Expectations are impossibly high
Unlocks
