Venus is the largest lending protocol on BSC, forked from Compound V2. The Isolated Pools upgrade adds risk isolation between markets, bad debt auctions, and multi-chain deployment. The classic Compound fork mistake lives here: blocksPerYear designed for Ethereum's 15-second blocks, deployed on BSC's 3-second blocks. Interest rates are 5x what they should be.
